1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

By purchasing, utilizing, or interacting with any products or physical goods manufactured by The Card Shelf Workshop, you (the "User" or "Customer") explicitly acknowledge and agree that you are doing so entirely at your own risk. The Card Shelf Workshop designs and manufactures custom structural displays, card shelves, and tabletop storage units. You assume full, unconditional responsibility for determining if our products are suitable, safe, and compatible with your specific environment, mounting surfaces, hardware, and valuable collectibles.

2. ABSOLUTE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Card Shelf Workshop, its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any damage, loss, injury, or destruction of property arising directly or indirectly from the use, installation, handling, storage, or failure of our products.

This is an absolute waiver of liability. You agree that we are entirely exempt from liability for:

• Collectible and Property Damage: Any damage, scratches, structural cracks, fading, or loss of value to trading cards, graded card slabs (PSA, BGS, CGC, etc.), memorabilia, sports cards, or tabletop gaming accessories stored or displayed on or within our products.

• Installation and Structural Failures: Any wall damage, property damage, or structural failure resulting from how our products are mounted, hung, fixed, or placed. We provide no structural mounting warranties, and the responsibility for secure, safe installation rests completely with the end user.

• Physical Injury: Any personal injury, accidental harm, cuts, or choking hazards caused by the handling, breaking, dropping, or misusing of our physical 3D-printed parts.

3. "AS-IS" SITE AND MANUFACTURE WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

All digital content, product listings, and physical items are provided strictly on an "As Is" and "As Available" basis. The Card Shelf Workshop makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the website, the infallibility of the physical materials, or the complete structural load capacity of custom items. We disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

4. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS & EXTERNAL LINKS

This website is hosted on Shopify and may utilize third-party applications, tracking tools, and payment gateways. The Card Shelf Workshop exercises zero control over the operational uptime, security parameters, server failures, or data handling protocols of Shopify or third-party web tools. We assume zero legal liability for data breaches, checkout errors, connection drops, or financial transaction interruptions caused by external platforms.

5. FORCE MAJEURE (EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL)

The Card Shelf Workshop is entirely excused from any failure, delay, or disruption in production, shipping, or fulfillment caused by events outside of our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to: raw material supply chain shortages, filament manufacturing delays, power grid failures, machine mechanical failure, carrier labor strikes, postal disruptions, weather emergencies, or government restrictions.

6. INDEMNIFICATION AND HOLD HARMLESS

By entering this website or completing a purchase, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold completely harmless The Card Shelf Workshop and its officers from any legal claims, demands, losses, liabilities, arbitration costs, or attorney’s fees initiated by you or any third party arising out of your utilization of our website, violation of our terms, or the deployment of our custom physical products in your home or business.

7. MANDATORY LEGAL VENUE

Any attempt to circumvent this absolute disclaimer or initiate a dispute, arbitration, chargeback challenge, or legal suit against The Card Shelf Workshop must be filed strictly within the state courts of DuPage County, Illinois, under the governing jurisdiction of Illinois law.
